Aqueous Mobile Phase Series

ProntoSIL C18 AQ

• Bischoff's unique bonding technology makes ProntoSIL C18 AQ particularly suitable for aqueous mobile phase environments where the organic solvent content is lower than 10%.

• Stationary phases produced using traditional bonding technologies will experience collapse of the brush-like C18 chains under these aqueous conditions, leading to poor peak shapes.

• ProntoSIL C18 AQ can maintain excellent peak shapes in such mobile phases, an advantage that significantly improves its selectivity, which is fully demonstrated when analyzing polar substances.

• ProntoSIL C18 AQ is fully endcapped and is available in particle sizes of 3, 5, and 10 $\mu m$ with pore sizes of 120 and 200 Å.

ProntoSIL C18 AQ PLUS

• Similar to ProntoSIL C18 AQ, ProntoSIL C18 AQ PLUS is also suitable for aqueous mobile phases with an organic solvent content below 10%.

• Unlike the standard AQ version, ProntoSIL C18 AQ PLUS demonstrates even stronger stability under low pH acidic conditions (pH 1).

• Excellent peak shapes can be obtained even in systems using 100% pure water as the mobile phase.

• ProntoSIL C18 AQ PLUS is primarily used in the field of combinatorial chemistry.

• ProntoSIL C18 ace-EPS is a new type of reversed-phase stationary phase bonded with polar groups.

• It offers exceptional stability across a wide pH range of 1 to 10 and provides a maximized balance of hydrophobic and polar selectivity.

• Due to the extremely low silanol activity of ProntoSIL C18 ace-EPS, even strongly basic compounds like amitriptyline (an antidepressant) can be eluted under neutral pH conditions with highly symmetrical peak shapes.

• This phase is primarily used in the pharmaceutical industry, where analytes typically carry basic or acidic groups; it demonstrates enhanced polar selectivity when separating such substances.
