The UM 5000 Evaporative Light Scattering Detector (ELSD) is the next-generation upgraded successor to the UM 3000, the first domestically produced ELSD by Unimicro. Currently, it is widely utilized for the detection of carbohydrates, lipids, fatty acids, amino acids, pharmaceuticals, and polymers, with a particular emphasis on the determination of active ingredients lacking UV absorption in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and proprietary Chinese medicines.
P.S. As a significant R&D achievement of the National "Tenth Five-Year" Science and Technology Outreach Program, the UM 3000 commenced development in 2004, officially passed acceptance by the Ministry of Science and Technology in May 2007, and has garnered numerous accolades, including the BCEIA Gold Award and multiple domestic patents.
UM 5000 Performance Features:
-
Universal Compatibility: Seamlessly integrates with any HPLC system.
-
Universal Detection: Capable of detecting any analyte with lower volatility than the mobile phase.
-
Superior Sensitivity: Offers significant advantages in both detection sensitivity and dynamic range.
-
Low-Temperature Evaporation: Provides stable high-temperature evaporation up to 130°C.
-
Cost-Effective Performance: Delivers international-standard performance at domestic instrument pricing, offering an exceptional price-to-performance ratio.
-
High-End Configuration: Utilizes a detection assembly combining a semiconductor laser with a Photomultiplier Tube (PMT).
